- Offset Pivots: Built to provide better door weight distribution, can be used on taller doors.
- Intermediate Pivots: Used for alignment and to ensure proper installation of bottom offset pivots or floor closers.
- Electrified Pivots: Offset hung electrified pivots are used for power transfer and/or door position monitoring.
- Center Hung Pivots: Used for aesthetics or if the pivot point is going to be moved closer to the lock edge of the door.
- Pocket Pivots: Used when the swinging door is located in a wall pocket.

Recommended for installations on average frequency double acting doors in schools, hospitals, institutions and other public buildings.
- Used in conjunction with CSS-9 Combinations Strike and Stops and DS-6 Emergency Door Stops
- Thrust steel ball bearing in bottom pivot, oil impregnated bronze bearing in top pivot

Reinforcing Pivots
McKinney Reinforcing Pivot Hinges
McKinney Reinforcing Pivot Hinges are used as a retrofit solution to fix sagging or damaged doors. The hinge is installed at the top of the door and to the head of the frame.

Markar B1921 & B1923 Full Surface Reinforcing Pivots
This full-surface reinforcing pivot adds years of life to openings where the hinges or hinge reinforcements have failed. An economical way to solve door sag problems, reinforcing pivots take the load off the top hinge and transfer it to screws that will not pull out.
Spring Pivots
McKinney Sagless Double Acting Gate Spring Pivot Hinge – 4007RB/4007MRB
Recommended for use on wood and metal gates.
- The gate Spring Pivot Hinge has an exterior tension adjustment which can be adjusted after hinge is applied.
- Spring is large enough for heavy duty conditions but the adjustable tension makes it equally suited for light gates
- The 4007 RB Series attachments are applied to the surface of the frame and the box is applied to the bottom surface of the gate.
- Specify MRB for mortised box and reversed brackets;specify RB for reverse brackets only

McKinney Light Weight Double Acting Gravity Pivot Hinge – 8007/H8007
Recommended for use on double acting wood Louvre doors.
- The 8007 features a unique ball bearing pivot riding on a hardened steel cam providing frictionless service
- The H8007 is similar to the 8007 except that it has a 90° hold open feature in either direction
- Attachments are surface applied to the jamb and the top socket may be surface applied or mortised into the top of the door. The box may be surfaced applied or mortised into the bottom of the door.

- Door weight closes the door- no spring
